Michele Byers, CAE, CMP, DES
Michele is an accomplished association executive known for her dynamic approach to organizational leadership. With a track record of driving operational excellence and achieving tangible outcomes, Michele excels in fostering stakeholder relationships, orchestrating intricate projects and deploying innovative strategies to elevate member involvement.
Her executive role with GSACEP includes collaborating with the Board of Directors and organizational leaders to execute strategic plans aligned with the association’s mission and vision, directing chapter programs and services including membership growth, education and training, events, leadership development, communications and ensuring financial stability and prudent resource management.
Michele holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), and Digital Event Strategist (DES). She also holds the Healthcare Meetings Compliance Certificate (HMCC). Her accolades, including the Award of Excellence from the Dallas/Fort Worth Association Executives, and the Impact Award from the Council of Residency Directors in Emergency Medicine, underscore her commitment to excellence in the field. She is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives, Texas Society of Association Executives, Dallas/Fort Worth Association Executives (Past President), Meeting Professionals International (MPI), MPI-Dallas Fort Worth Chapter, Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), and the PCMA Gulf States Chapter (Board of Directors).
